The Purple Chia Energizer
This colourful, berry-filled, healthy smoothie bowl is a MUST TRY! It is great for mornings, to load up on vitamin c, protein and potassium.
Ingredients: (for 2 smoothie bowls)
- 1 organic banana
- 1 cup frozen organic mixed berries
- 1/2 cup frozen cherries
- 2 spoonfuls of vanilla greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp ground flax seed
- 1 handful of ice
- Enough water to blend
- TOPPINGS: puffed quinoa, raw cashews, fresh strawberries and chia seeds
Combine all ingredients into a high speed blender. Blend until it is a smooth thick consistency. Pour into a bowl and top with desired toppings.
