Triple Chocolate Flourless Black Bean Brownies

These incredibly chocolatey and irresistible brownies are a chocaholics dream! The best part is, that these delicious squares of chocolatey goodness can be enjoyed 100% guilt free, this is, believe it or not, a secretly healthy dessert! You need to try them out for yourself, you will fall in love!

Ingredients:

Brownie:

  • 1 1/2 cups organic black beans ( 1 15 oz. can)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (can be sugar free is desired)

Chocolate Topping:

  1. 3/4 cup cacao powder
  2. 1/3 cup coconut oil
  3. 1/2 cup maple syrup

Recipe:

1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Rinse and strain black beans in cool water.

2. Combine all ingredients except for the chocolate chips into a food processor and blend until completely smooth. Make sure there are no chunks of black bean, it is smooth, similar to a batter/puree.

3. Stir in the chocolate chips and pour into a 8X8 pan that is either greased or lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-18 minutes and then let it cool for 10 minutes.

4. Melt all of the chocolate topping ingredients together and pour ontopĀ of the cooled brownies. Time to dig in!
