Orange Chia Smoothie

Looking for a refreshing smoothie that makes you feel as though you just stepped onto a tropical paradise?! Well, with the weather getting beautiful and warm outside things are made a little easier, but this smoothieΒ is the perfect drink to take you there! Packed full of vitamin C, fibre, folate, vitamin B1 and protein, this smoothie is not only delicious, but also loaded up with goodies that your body needs and craves for optimal function! Oranges are one of the most popular fruits in the world, they contain a variety of phytonutrient compounds, protect and support the immune system and are a very good source of vitamin C and fibre. As well as, oranges Β are rich in beta-cryptoxanthin, which is a ornate-red carotenoid which is found in high amount in oranges. Not to mention, they also help to prevent kidney stones, protect respiratory health and rheumatoid arthritis! Oranges are such an incredible fruit, and we should take advantage of all of the health benefits that we can gain from eating, juicing, and cooking with them!


  • 1 large Organic Navel Orange
  • 1/2 cup Oats
  • 1 Organic Banana
  • 4 chunks of Frozen Organic Mango
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seed
  • 1 tbsp Ground Flax Seed
  • Unsweetened Almond Milk / Coconut Milk / Coconut Water / Regular Water


Blend all of the ingredients together on high in your blender. Pour into a glass and voila!
