This delicious dessert was my first attempt at spicy brownies and WOW let me tell you… these are AMAZING!! Not only do they have a nice little kick to them but they also are very rich and chocolatey! As a die hard chocaholic you cannot really ask for anything more 🙂 These brownies can be enjoyed by all since they are:
**FREE FROM REFINED SUGARS
What did I tell you!! AMAZING! 🙂
1 cup ground almonds
1 cup dates
2 tbsp melted organic coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 cup walnuts
4 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
6 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla
1. Blend all of the brownie base ingredients on high in a food processor.
2. Then press into an 8X8 inch pan lined with parchment paper.
3. Mix all of the topping ingredients together and pour over top of the brownie base. Put in the freezer for at least an hour to set. Sprinkle with chilli flakes if desired.
