Looking for a healthy dessert that you can indulge in that tastes just as good as it sounds!? Well here you have it! Rich and creamy chocolate peanut butter ice cream! It is very simple to make and will cause zero feelings of guilt and 100% feelings of happiness.
You can add other things that you love to this ice cream as well, such as coconut, chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, or healthy brownie pieces! (The recipe for healthy delicious brownies is on my blog 🙂 )
TIP: When freezing the bananas I would HIGHLY recommend taking the peels off, chopping the banana into quarters and freezing in ziploc bags. This makes it very easy to pop them into the food processor as well as it will save you the trouble of unpeeling a frozen solid stubborn banana! Just a tip to make it easier and faster for you!
- 2 frozen bananas
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp natural peanut butter
- enough milk to blend
- a splash of sweetener (raw melted honey, agave syrup, maple syrup…)
Put everything into a food processor and blend on high. Scoop into a bowl and devour!
