Carrot Mango Smoothie

This deliciously sweet and nutritious smoothie is the best pick me up for any time of the day! It is packed full of potassium, fibre, antioxidants, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K and beta-carotene. It is a heart healthy smoothie filled with cardiovascular benefits due to the wonderful combination of ingredients, so it is safe to say, this smoothie is incredibly good for you! Not only is it good for you, but it has a beautiful rich colour and tastes fantastic as well, having a sweet taste from the mango and carrot combination as well as a little bit of crunch from the chia seeds! BEHOLD A PERFECT SMOOTHIE…and as a side note it is also gluten-free, lactose-free AND vegan friendly!

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 medium sized carrots
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 handful of ice
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

Recipe:

Blend all together on high until blended. Pour into  a glass.
